I can’t imagine what the others in the meeting would think seeing me with this crap peeling off my face. When it comes to creating a fresh, wide-awake look, concealer is essential. Luckily I have it here with me at work so I am going to wash my face and redo my makeup before my next meeting. I am going back to my Clinique Even Better foundation. This web page is the only one I have found with positive comments so I thought I would share my awful experience. I figured that was because of my sunscreen/moisturizer. This was the first time I actually wore it all day since in the past every time I started to put it on it would just smear around and not sick to my face. My Secretary just asked me if I have a Sun burn that is peeling. Now I am at work, 6 hours after application and it is literally falling off my face in little flakes. Then when I put my blush on it did the same thing, it rubbed off in little balls or flakes. So obviously you can’t layer this for mite coverage. But instantly it starting rubbing off and pulling up. I put it on and then tried to add a little mite to cover a spot that didn’t get even coverage. Today I tried it again making sure my was dry, dry. I have tried this foundation soo many times I have lost count. If you find it on sale, try it out, it’s surprising or at least it was for me. Should be an excellent pick for Summer as well. The formula is spot on and they seemed to have perfected the primer slash foundation formula, one that works, and isn’t greasy, oily, or shiny on skin! As I mentioned above, I’m generally distrustful of this sort of foundation product but I actually ended up really like it. It does have issues especially with pigment…if they can work a little more coverage into it, I’d be happy to Muse Approve it. I think setting with powder would prolog the wear some. Although my skin remained moist and at first application and looked fresh, as the day progressed, the dullness returned to my skin and I looked a lot less “fresh” as the day went on. ![]() The thing I did dislike about it was the fact it disappeared rather quickly. Although coverage is very sheer it still manages to ease my dullness and freshens up my skin plus it seems to provide all day moisture which is much needed. The coverage is very sheer and offers more of a tinted moisturizer experience. ![]() Redness, acne scarring, darkness, etc…will unfortunately not be covered with this. It perfects with sheer coverage however, it won’t conceal major problems unfortunately. If you already have fairly good skin and don’t like or desire medium or full coverage foundation I’d recommend this. The texture has an almost whipped up fluffiness but the clear primer ruins that effect slightly giving it a separated gooey look. When the foundation is pumped out it does have an odd separation look but that’s just the primer mixed with the base that gives it that look. The texture is beautiful and my dry skin seems to suck it up like a cold glass of water with ice. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed (like I just splashed cool water on it), cooled, smooth, and soft. The Lifter is a refreshing, cool, and moist foundation product that smooths onto skin like butter and absorbs in a snap. It’s surprisingly beautiful in texture….where as Tone Rehab was a greasy experience. I think you’ll find the texture a little too moist for shiny skin or even combination skin. I would not recommend it for oily, normal, or combination skin. I’d recommend this for dry skin or older skin. However, on drier skin this is how it all went down. I need a few extra years on my skin before I could rave its anti-aging benefits…. I don’t think the skin on my face is in need of lifting and I can’t say that this did anything in regards to lifting. This is a helix design that features foundation combined with a clear primer and a lifting formula which contains peptides that supposedly firm skin. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation is available in twelve shades for $13.99-$14.99. I tried the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation with the idea in my head I’d dislike it but it isn’t as bad as I thought! ![]() You’d think my skin would love a formula like this but unfortunately, they seem super heavy and greasy on me. These foundation with built in serums and primers just don’t seem to work out for me even though I have dry skin. I wasn’t sure I’d like the new Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation since I had a rather bad run with Covergirl Olay Tone Rehab.
